Marjan is an Afghan-born, American-grown designer living in Philadelphia.

She received a BA in 2002 from George Mason University in Anthropology and Graphic Design, then a MS in 2012 from Philadelphia University in Print Design.

She works at Penn as the Director of Design for the University Life Division overseeing graphic
and video communications.

Her work meets at the cross section of design and social awareness.

She has also taught as a Textile Design
adjunct professor at PhilaU.
